ABOUT THE ARTIST

Gabriela A. Igloria is a Norfolk resident and full-time student at Old Dominion University, studying Creative Writing and Women's and Gender Studies under the College of Arts and Letters.

Outside of school, Gabriela often combines visual art and creative writing in zines and other crafts. She mainly writes poetry. A 2022 Anaphora Arts fellow, Gabriela has work online or in print in Academy of American Poets, Whurk Magazine, and Paloma Press, among others. Gabriela is also the co-author of Writing Towards Accessibility: A Creative Writing and Disability Justice Zine (2023).
